The STC symposium features engaging speakers discussing cutting edge topics in pure and applied science. Attendees are divided roughly equally between academic, industry, and regulatory fields with the latter being drawn largely from many groups within Health Canada.
The one room format of the symposium fosters high engagement between experienced, new and trainee toxicologists (graduate students and post-doctoral fellows). It also ensures maximum visibility for sponsors.
The success of our symposium is credited largely to our sponsors, who lend their names and financial support to this important event, helping STC to cover the costs associated with attracting international experts as speakers, while keeping registration fees down to attract a broad range of attendees.
